The integrated feed and metering hopper of the Bag Opener BRT HARTNER BO can be fed with plastic bags by wheel loader or gripper. The bunker can even be overfilled. Long buffer times through high volumes are the prerequisite to relieve the staff. The installed moving floor conveyor transfers the material to the ripping drum, the heart of the Bag Opener. The separately driven drum halves generate a first relative movement. The continuous feeding of the ripping drum by the feed hopper ensures highest opening and emptying rates. Shredding of the material, ripping of cardboard, compressing of tins and cans, formation of unnecessary fine parts and mixing of moist and dry material are efficiently avoided.
